Decided to take on a more abstract concept for Lara Croft's character reborn within the head of a Buddha and enlightened, after going through many dangerous trials and ordeals to be the survivor she is destined to become. Heavily influenced by Sachin Teng's approach in illustration.

My final entry for this contest. I had a great time.

I just played Tomb Raider today. Firstly, the game was awesome, if a bit too dark for my taste, but I really like the art that you do for it! Although I wouldn't call her enlightened. More...awakened. Which, then again, kind of means the same thing.

I really think is one of the more successful entries. I could easily see this on a shirt, poster, promo flyer, sticker, button, ect ect. They need a piece for promo materials, and this one reads well from a distance, is visually interesting and I think would lend itself quite well to print. I don't think that's something a lot of contestants are keeping in mind. I would love to have a print of this on my wall, or wear it on a shirt. Good job!

I hope so too. It depends if its selected by the DevART panel as one of the 25 semi-final pieces. I think this third piece was the result of seeing every entry depicting more or less the same full colored background, enviroments and Lara with bow and arrows. (Majority of it) Plus, yeah, due to the fact they are looking for something that could be used for promotional materials and stuff. Though its a last minute consideration, let's keep our fingers crossed on that. Thank you very much!
