I've been down lately for some time and
I know I've been running away from His
presence.

Now here I am, sorrowfully and humbly before Him
I asked for forgiveness and for His love but only
silence was my response.

In darkness I wait, and wait I will. Till the End of Time.

I love this

I like to think He wouldnt consider there is anything to forgive, He loves us all the same... but trying does matter, there is a difference between hiding behind the belief that His love is unchanging, and accepting we all make mistakes, but we do have choices and must learn from our errors

I love the emotion in this work; the message it speaks is loud and clear. It's not everyday you come across a piece that achieves both an excellence in art and simultaneously portrays a feeling so profound as the wanting of a return of grace. Whenever I feel that I messed up big, I come back to this image, and remind myself again of His love. Super props to ya! [link]
