Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I'm not ignoring all of you...

Sorry boys and girls, I know, I know... its my bad for not replying. (Yes, I do miss you all. No, I don't take art requests... but I'm happy to do commissions. Speaking of which, I'm still doing one for my cousin.)

I'm really not free lately...(nor full of energy like I use to have to do my comics or artworks.) But anyways, I'm still watching over all of you via online and in spirit form... whatsoever form you'd like to see me appear.(I'm in a fox mask... and sorry I can't give you free shoulder massages. Yes, I be happy to dispose of your enemies... with a price).

So what's been going on while I was gone? Let's see... well I was declared dead by some, went to the Himalayas to train under the League of Shadows and return to Gotham (oh wait... that's not it.)

I was working on some artworks for a pitch document, keeping myself sane by watching all three awesome seasons of The Big Bang Theory (enjoying the GEEK side of me), and spending time with my family and friends.  

Oh, I just watched Prince of Persia last weekend(not a very good story in my opinion but its still visually an eye candy. If you're a fan of the games, I know you're all disappointed... but that's the way it is with Hollywood... and Disney.... and Bruckheimer... well at least its not Michael Bay.) Bazinga!

Did I mentioned LOST? I finally watched the season 6 finale and I finally can sum up the entire story in my brain and here it goes: It all ends with - REMOVED DUE TO MAJOR SPOILERS BY THE THE DHARMA INITIATIVE. NAMASTE.

Plus, I finally watched the first three episodes of Cartoon Network's all new "ADVENTURE TIME"! ALGEBRAIG!

Can't wait for INCEPTION by Christopher Nolan and not really anticipated for The Last Airbender film... but will watch for the fun of it.

Last but not least, something exciting is coming up for me for mid July of the SUMMER! (Well, its a month's time from now so my excitement is rather nullified by sheer worrisome and a blank slate of mind which is accompanied by the lack of enthusiasm for the summer due to my current country home which is all humid and sunny and a sheer bowel displacement in my part. Yes, that's the Sheldon Cooper side of me talking right now.)

(No I'm not crazy. My mother had me tested.)

and i agree with ATLA, it looks like M. Night Shalamalamalan just made the movie to show off his special effects mastery. in no part of the trailer does Aang look happy-go-lucky and fun-lovin, but rather emoish; Zuko's scar looks almost non-existent and he DOESN'T look emoish; and Sokka does not look like a sarcastic, meat-loving oaf. i haven't even seen the movie and i'm already disappointed...
