Alot of watchers and the growing fans of Fox Mask Man or even my Left 4 Dead parody comics often ask this same question to me:
Why can't they see the main character's faces? Why is it so mysterious? What does he look like?
The list goes on.
Well I'll tell you why. Its because I love being mysterious, I love the thrill of the unknown, the fascination for what lurks in the dark or beyond the reaches of this world and even the Universe. With a world that is advancing towards progress and great feats of science and technology, we seem to lost that magic, that mystical force that make our mind to wander, to give so many possibilities. Movies lack that nowadays, it becomes a routine cliche' and that is what I hate about that.
What happen to the good old days when we have Jules Verne's novels, or Chris Carter's X-Files, the Twilight Zone or even LOST?
So the answer is simple, I want to keep you fascinated. To keep you intrigued and probably continue to keep that magic alive somewhere else. If you wanna know who inspired me to do so, check this link here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpjVgF…
Now for updates:
After being lost for sometime trying to get a short simple title for my personal part-time project, 'My Girlfriend is Death's Daughter', I finally come up with a new title called " My Grim Girlfriend" which is a pun for the word "my DREAM girl". Short and simple, which very much I liked.
Now for stories!
Since its April the 1st, I'll tell you my high school pranks I've did. Its not that impressive but it sure helps me to kill some time.
Being a fan of Silent Hill and zombies, I decided to "haunt" the school (though the school has its own real spirits of the dead). What I like to do is to make alot of blood color mixture (using paint and glue and other gooey stuff) and spill it over a staircase from the top or from a ceiling to make it as if there's someone or something was killed. It was alot of fun when juniors that wander about the foggy corridors of the school will see traces of this bloody drag marks across the concrete floors.
Sometimes, I get too bored I fill the flushing tanks both in the girls and boys bathrooms with "blood" to see any scare reactions. Failed. haha
Other fun stuff is to dress up as a shadow thing and scare the newbies in the lower dormitories. with an added mask (like the one in that horror film DARKNESS FALLS) and that is enough to make some of them squel in fright. So i dress up, get to the emergency fire staircase at the back of the dorm which is pitch black outside at night. The doors for the fire exits have two small windows on them so to set the scare trap, I pull the knobs violently to rattle the doors
when they are asleep. As one of the curious ones wake up to check out, I'll loom out with the ghostly mask and press my face at the windows!
There were a few set backs where, the juniors gang up to exterminate this "ghost" and the next time i scare them, they reach for the doors to get to me with broomsticks and some hard tennis racquets. LOL By then, the ghost have slunk away into the darkness unharmed.
Another funny one is just me and my friend were dressing up to scare the girls by asking them to look outside and into the boys' dormitory windows. While I was waiting in my ghost hood, two dorm mates were passing by in the dark lit corridor unaware of our presence in the corner and chatting idly. Until the fat one spotted us and oh damn... he screamed like a girl and ran for his life until i could feel the concrete floor beneath me shook in his wake. Oh well.
Didn't mean to scare him but guess it worked.
Well that's for all, for now. Muahahaha
